A new study designed by a Cleveland Clinic nurse has found that people who are recovering from brain injuries have better long-term outcomes if they get up and get moving as soon as possible. After tracking 600 patients, the Clinic noted that even if people are physically unable to move, using lifts or moving them outside helps them heal faster.
